The first film of four in our Fall 2014 film series, Water on the Table features Maude Barlow, international activist who crusades to make water a human right.
Ms Barlow was in Detroit this summer to address the water shutoffs. Barlow’s critics are policy and economic experts who argue water is no different than any other resource, and that the best way to protect freshwater is to privatize it.
This event will be facilitated by Lila Cabill, People’s Water Board
MCHR is a coalition member of the People’s Water Board.
