The 2019 Detroit Freedom Tour will explore Detroit’s civil rights history by visiting a series of locations significant to the movement, including: The Birwood Wall; Algiers Motel; Shrine of the Black Madonna; Mohammed Temple; New Bethel Baptist Church; Ossian Sweet House; Viola Liuzzo Park and many others.
