MCHR Annual Meeting – Poor People’s Campaign: Lessons Learned and Looking to the Future

Michigan Coalition for Human Rights Annual Meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., June 21, 2018 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish in Oak Park. Keynote speaker Rev. Ed Rowe and others will talk about the 2018 Poor People’s Campaign.
To mark International Human Rights Day, Frank Joyce will present “A Treatment Plan for White Nationalism” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at St. Peters Episcopal Church. Joyce, a noted Detroit activist and author, is a long-time member of the MCHR Board of Directors. He helped found People Against Racism (PAR) and has been involved with labor, anti-racist, human rights and peace initiatives and campaigns since the early 1960s.
