MCHR members and friends held a unity vigil in Royal Oak on Nov. 3, 2018 after the mass shootings at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh and racist murders in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. MCHR stands against all forms of hatred and discrimination based on religion, race, ethnicity, immigration status or sexual orientation.

Religious leaders from different faiths hosted a call for unity event at the Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights on Thursday.
The interfaith gathering was called to promote unity within the Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities and put an end to hateful rhetoric that inspires violence.
