“In and through community lies the salvation of the world…” ~Dr. M. Scott Peck~

DONATE NOW!

Dear MCHR Supporter,

The Michigan Coalition for Human Rights (MCHR) has proudly served as a communal change agent for over forty years, expanding its vision overtime, to promote awareness of, commitment to, and advocacy for human rights and the environmental rights of planet Earth, through education, community organization, and action. Many of you are aware of the important work that MCHR participates in to help the oppressed, the vulnerable, the poor, the outcast, and to protect the environment; opposing forces that suppress human dignity, freedom, and justice. This commitment is ever present today through MCHR’s community involvement, committed boards, staff and most importantly, supporters and allies like you who make it all possible. As we reflect on all that these forty plus years have afforded us, we wholeheartedly acknowledge that our measured success heavily relies on societal interconnectedness and reciprocated support.  Where would we be without you?!

This year, we are embarking on our first annual Capital Campaign with a goal of raising $30,000. A successful Capital Campaign will allow MCHR to continue to participate in providing the much-needed assistance, education, and contributions to people and communities. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, MCHR would not be able to sustain its local, national, and international community participation, particularly in view of the financial damage suffered due to the worldwide pandemic. To maintain the positive impact that MCHR contributes to people and communities, it is vital for the Capital Campaign to be a success. May we count on you to donate to our Capital Campaign? Your donation(s) will be tax deductible and you will be contributing to the positive impact we strive to make with our community.

We are grateful for the continued work we have been able to do during this unforeseen time, but there is so much more work to be done in the name of human rights. This is where your support comes in, by way of donations, membership, becoming a campaign sponsor, attending, and sharing events. The Capital Campaign will launch on April 29th, 2021, concluding August 1st, 2021. Please review the Donor Form (on ways to give) and flyer which highlights the inaugural campaign program on April 29th. Also, stay informed via our bi-monthly e-newsletter, website (www.mchr.org), and social media outlets for events to follow in May and June. Remember, it truly takes a village!
